Invasive Asian Crab Summary

The Asian Crab most likely arrived in New Jersey from bilge water in a ship. This crab has rapidly spread into most of New England and is still spreading. Marine biologists worry that this crab will completely wipe out inter-tidepools of nutrients and then those key species will lead to an extinction of other important marine species; if the lowest man on the totem pole goes- they all go.
